One sunny Monday morning there was a school called Pt England having an immersion assembly in their school hall. The first thing they did was introduce the mihi and karakia and also talk about the new theme for the term which was called make it work. Then the senior management team talked about a leak in the roof of the hall and they were thinking of a solution to fix the problem and they thought of one but it was really slow and then they used a pump to get the water out of the 1000 litre bucket thing and the water was coming out a lot more quick. Worked.
The next thing that happened was the team one item and they played a movie for the students of Pt England school. The movie was about creating some stuff for a dog to be happy and not wander off all the time.
The next item was team 2 and they also did a movie about the theme to make it work. Team two’s movie was about learning how to create and make some new stuff to make their bays more cool and fun to play in.
The next item was team three’s item and they did a play. The play was about going back in time and learning what time was about without the internet or technology and just doing random stuff people used to do back in the old days.
After the team three item there was a team 4 item and they also made video the video was kind of similar to team 2 but instead of designing the bay’s team 4 are designing there outside area in between the year 6 block and the year 5 and they are going to design it so it is nicer and better for people to hangout.
The next group is team 5 and what team five did was a song and it was the same song as bob the builder but instead of bob the builder it was Pt England and they also talked about each teacher and said they had a few problems.
The next thing was Mr J and he was talking about the two words what if and he was saying that you had probably heard the two words what if a lot today and he also said that you should say what if a lot in the term.
The Last bit is the end and at the end they talked about The theme a bit more and then the students of Pt England left and the immersion assembly was finished.
