During the holidays I went on a trip to the Gold coast in Australia with my mum, dad,aunty, uncle, and grandparents for a holiday. When I got there we had to wait a long time so we could get picked up to go to a car rental place. Once we got there we had to wait like an hour to get our car. Then we went to a mall to get lunch and buy groceries then I got some stuff I wanted. After that we went to a hotel to stay with my mum nana and aunty came in so I decided I wanted to go while the others waited in the car. Once we got in the room and put our stuff in we went on a walk to explore. When we got back it was already 7 so we ordered some pizza for dinner. It was delicious.The next day I woke up and had some breakfast then I got changed and played on my phone then my family got ready then we went for a walk so I put my shoes on and we left we were walking for a while then we got ice cream for a little treat. When we got back we got ready for the pools and we had a barbecue for my dads birthday. Then we went to sleep. The next day we were packing up to go home and we left on the plane. When we got home we had some KFC for dinner and went to sleep.

Task Description: Today I did a task for the Summer Learning Journey it was a piece of art with a bunch of patterns. This was fun but it took a really long time to finish it was on a device so I didn’t draw it or colour it in I did it on my Chromebook and I had to do each individual area of the patterns so it took a long time.

Task Description: Today I did a task I needed a buddy so I picked my friend and we needed to edit a recount. this activity was fun to do everything we did had to be coloured red because we picked that colour.

Task Description: Today I did a poster with four facts about the artist Hudertwasser this was fun and easy I liked this task because it was easy and quick.
Being Brave Dictation
Task Description: Today I did a dictation about being brave this was easy and quick this was also a bit fun. I like dictations cause they are usually easy and quick unless it is long and has heap of question marks and stuff so their fun.
On monday morning it was time for someone to start the day by sharing their Mihi. When the teacher asked “ who would like to share their Mihi?” I nervously looked down at the floor. I started to feel butterflies in my tummy because I was worried that she would choose me. Then I remembered that I wanted to become more brave this year so I quickly put up my hand. As I walked to the front, I could feel my legs shaking but I new I could do it. After I said my Mihi, the teacher said that I was brave and that I was very good. I was so proud of myself.
Scratch Lego Animation
Task Description: This term my class was doing a scratch project for this we had to make a lego man dance. I liked doing this project and this was cool I enjoyed doing this scratch project. This was heaps of fun to do and I liked it.
